Admittedly, works by John Varley Jnr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work British the Mosque Of Khair Bek, Cairo in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,721.28).
