Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Un país que se ofrece by José Bedia. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,758.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Bedia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work !Ay Tatá! ?Hasta Cuándo?, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 61,200.00 (€ 46,150.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Un país que se ofrece von José Bedia zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.758,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von José Bedia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit !Ay Tatá! ?Hasta Cuándo? beobachtet, die im November 2006 für USD 61.200,00 (€ 46.150,37) versteigert wurde.
