This artwork by José Pedro Costigliolo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in May 2011. In the Modern Art 2 auction, the work Composition, 1956 sold for EUR 2,805.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Pedro Costigliolo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Triángulos, which sold at auction in August 2020 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,378.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von José Pedro Costigliolo erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art 2 wurde die Arbeit Composition, 1956 für EUR 2.805,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von José Pedro Costigliolo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Triángulos beobachtet, die im August 2020 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.378,02) versteigert wurde.
