Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 780.00 (€ 1,126.75). Admittedly, works by José Weiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work September On The Arun in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,034.28).

Die Arbeit Summer landscape von José Weiss kam im Januar 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 780,00 (€ 1.126,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José Weiss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit September On The Arun im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.034,28).
