Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joseph Chinard; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Tinted Plaster Bust Of Napoleon Bonaparte As First Consul sold at auction in April 2016 with the realized price of USD 149,000.00 (€ 130,233.37).
