In the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work A Gloucester Homestead sold for USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,757.60) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joseph Eliot Enneking; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot View of a Church Across the River sold at auction in January this year with the realized price of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,697.00).
