The price achieved of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,874.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Henry Sharp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Medicine Teepee in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,497,000.00 (€ 962,082.26).
