This artwork by Joseph Jost achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2001. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work Gladioli, paeonies, carnations and fuchsias in a vase on a draped table sold for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 2,945.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Jost - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The tea table, which sold at auction in September 2003 for GBP 8,225.00 (€ 8,284.82).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Jost erzielte im Februar 2001 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES wurde die Arbeit Gladioli, paeonies, carnations and fuchsias in a vase on a draped table für GBP 1.880,00 (€ 2.945,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00.
