A top price for Joseph Mozier - as previously expected
The work Pocahontas by Joseph Mozier was sold in the European Art auction at Christies in New York in February this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 17,640.00 (€ 16,638.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Pocahontas is the most expensive artwork by Joseph Mozier that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Pocahontas von Joseph Mozier wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion European Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 16.638,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Pocahontas das teuerste Kunstwerk von Joseph Mozier, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
