In May 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A farmyard with chickens; and A country girl seated by a jug (illustrated) by Joshua Cristall. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 875.00 (€ 1,090.21), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Joshua Cristall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barking timber in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,349.07).

Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A farmyard with chickens; and A country girl seated by a jug (illustrated) von Joshua Cristall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.090,21) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joshua Cristall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barking timber im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.349,07).
