Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Polish zaporozcy by Josef von Brandt. The price achieved of USD 302,500.00 (€ 232,049.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 280,000.00 – 320,000.00. Other works by Josef von Brandt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July this year the work The Caravan was auctioned for GBP 214,200.00 (€ 249,906.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Polish zaporozcy von Josef von Brandt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 302.500,00 (€ 232.049,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 280.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Josef von Brandt konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli diesen Jahres die Arbeit The Caravan für GBP 214.200,00 (€ 249.906,48) versteigert.
