Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2001 Christies in New York held the auction LATIN AMERICAN ART, which included the work Vista panorámica Guanajuato y Michoacán by Juan O'Gorman. Here, the upper estimate of USD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 259,000.00 (€ 289,127.04). Other works by Juan O'Gorman have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 378,000.00 (€ 352,250.49) in May last year for the work Consumatum Est.

Im November 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion LATIN AMERICAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vista panorámica Guanajuato y Michoacán von Juan O'Gorman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 259.000,00 (€ 289.127,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Juan O'Gorman haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 352.250,49) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Consumatum Est beobachtet.
