Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jument pur-sang (Thoroughbred mare) by Jules Moigniez was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,648.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jules Moigniez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little Agnès: a tethered thoroughbred with greyhound and tack in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 15,200.14).

Die Arbeit Jument pur-sang (Thoroughbred mare) von Jules Moigniez kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.648,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jules Moigniez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Little Agnès: a tethered thoroughbred with greyhound and tack im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 15.200,14).
