Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Venezia, la chiesa di San Samuele by Jules-Romain Joyant was sold in the Old Master Pictures and Drawings auction at Christies in Milan in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jules-Romain Joyant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Riva degli Schiavoni with the Doge's Palace, the Piazzetta and Santa Maria della Salute, Venice in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,475.39).

Die Arbeit Venezia, la chiesa di San Samuele von Jules-Romain Joyant wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Old Master Pictures and Drawings bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
