Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2000 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work A sheep and lambs resting in a moorland landscape by Juliette Peyrol-Bonheur. The price achieved of GBP 998.75 (€ 1,671.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Juliette Peyrol-Bonheur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Cows Grazing By The Sea in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 12,188.00 (€ 8,297.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A sheep and lambs resting in a moorland landscape von Juliette Peyrol-Bonheur zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 998,75 (€ 1.671,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juliette Peyrol-Bonheur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Cows Grazing By The Sea im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.188,00 (€ 8.297,93).
