Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Choucoune by Julio Larraz was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 50,529.18). Admittedly, works by Julio Larraz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bingham at Noon in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 326,500.00 (€ 227,114.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Choucoune von Julio Larraz wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 50.529,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julio Larraz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bingham at Noon im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 326.500,00 (€ 227.114,64).
