In May 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work Playtime by Julius Kleinmichel. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,250.00 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Playtime is even the most expensive work of art by Julius Kleinmichel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Playtime von Julius Kleinmichel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.250,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Playtime sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Julius Kleinmichel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
