Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work A bacchanal by a temple in a wooded landscape by Jurriaan Andriessen. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,007.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jurriaan Andriessen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Female Figures And Children Frolicking And Resting By Antique Ruins In A Forest; Nymphs Resting Beside Water In A Lush Forest, A Stag In The Distance in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 85,000.00 (€ 116,724.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A bacchanal by a temple in a wooded landscape von Jurriaan Andriessen zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.007,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jurriaan Andriessen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Female Figures And Children Frolicking And Resting By Antique Ruins In A Forest; Nymphs Resting Beside Water In A Lush Forest, A Stag In The Distance im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.000,00 (€ 116.724,60).
