Despite a disappointment, a good price for K. Mori
When the work A Japanese Watercolour by K. Mori was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 240.00 (€ 353.93). Despite this disappointing result, A Japanese Watercolour is the most expensive artwork by K. Mori that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für K. Mori
Als die Arbeit A Japanese Watercolour von K. Mori im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 240,00 (€ 353,93) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist A Japanese Watercolour das teuerste Kunstwerk von K. Mori, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
