A top price for Karel la Fargue - as previously expected
The work Tollbridge over the canal De Vliet by Karel la Fargue was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,682.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tollbridge over the canal De Vliet is the most expensive artwork by Karel la Fargue that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Tollbridge over the canal De Vliet von Karel la Fargue kam im April 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
