Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work One oban yoko-e print and one oban tate-e print by Kawase Hasui was sold in the Japanese and Korean Art auction at Bonhams in New York in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,379.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kawase Hasui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hiraizumi Konjikido (Konjiki Hall At Hiraizumi) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 64,783.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit One oban yoko-e print and one oban tate-e print von Kawase Hasui wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.379,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kawase Hasui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hiraizumi Konjikido (Konjiki Hall At Hiraizumi) im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 64.783,62).
