Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Showa era (1926-1989), dated 1947 by Kawase Hasui was sold in the Patient Detail, Perfect DesignJapanese Art across the Centuries auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 828.75 (€ 960.33). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kawase Hasui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hiraizumi Konjikido (Konjiki Hall At Hiraizumi) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 64,783.62).
