Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Holiday: Taipei (Set of Three) by Kaws was auctioned at Bonhams in London in August this year. It achieved a price of HKD 6,080.00 (€ 715.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Holiday: Taipei (Set of Three) von Kaws kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 6.080,00 (€ 715,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
