Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in 29 June - held the auction Let Loose: Online Auction, which included the work PINOCCHIO by Kaws. The price achieved of HKD 571,500.00 (€ 66,484.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 29 June - die Auktion Let Loose: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit PINOCCHIO von Kaws zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 571.500,00 (€ 66.484,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 650.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
