Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Kaws achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in August this year. In the Cherry Picked Modern & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Together (Set of Three) sold for HKD 14,080.00 (€ 1,656.24) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kaws erzielte im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Cherry Picked Modern & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Together (Set of Three) für HKD 14.080,00 (€ 1.656,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
