A top price for Kelani Fatai
In November last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction African Contemporary Art, which included the work Melanin Love, 2022 by Kelani Fatai. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,808.00 48% above the upper estimate. With this result, Melanin Love, 2022 is even the most expensive work of art by Kelani Fatai that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Kelani Fatai
Im November letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion African Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Melanin Love, 2022 von Kelani Fatai zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.808,00 und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Melanin Love, 2022 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kelani Fatai, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
