Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Fossil De Noir, 1964 by Key Sato. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,850.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Key Sato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Âme de la Terre in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 30,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fossil De Noir, 1964 von Key Sato zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.850,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Key Sato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Âme de la Terre im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.240,00.
