Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Niagara by Kezban Arca Batibeki was sold in the Contemporary Art Turkish auction at Sothebys in London in March 2009. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,065.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kezban Arca Batibeki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Duel I+II (from the Pulp Fiction: The sequel series) in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 37,952.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Niagara von Kezban Arca Batibeki wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Turkish bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.065,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kezban Arca Batibeki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Duel I+II (from the Pulp Fiction: The sequel series) im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 37.952,90).
