Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Jeanne Moreau - Vers 1990 by Kishin Shinoyama was auctioned at Artcurial in October 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 650.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kishin Shinoyama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twin - 1970 in October 2015 with an auction result of EUR 7,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Jeanne Moreau - Vers 1990 von Kishin Shinoyama im Oktober 2020 bei Artcurial versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 650,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kishin Shinoyama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twin - 1970 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.540,00.
