In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art, which included the work Mother And The Motherland Are The Most Important by Konstantin Zvezdochetov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,123.16), 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Zvezdochetov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 89,650.78).

Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother And The Motherland Are The Most Important von Konstantin Zvezdochetov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.123,16) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Zvezdochetov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suffering Of The Christians And Savagery Of The Pagans im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 89.650,78).
