Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Krishen Khanna was sold in the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,268.02). Admittedly, works by Krishen Khanna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Anatomy Lesson in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 264,000.00 (€ 197,397.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Krishen Khanna wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.268,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Krishen Khanna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Anatomy Lesson im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 264.000,00 (€ 197.397,94).
