Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Blomma by Kristina Elander was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in March 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 2,500.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 2,300.00 (€ 236.02). Admittedly, works by Kristina Elander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Brinnande barnvagn II". in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,825.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Blomma von Kristina Elander im März 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 2.300,00 (€ 236,02) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kristina Elander auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Brinnande barnvagn II". im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.825,96).
