Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio montano by Ludvig Kabell was auctioned at Il Ponte in September 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 100.00 – 150.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 80.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ludvig Kabell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Late Afternoon Stroll in December 2007 with an auction result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,739.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio montano von Ludvig Kabell im September 2013 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 100,00 – 150,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 80,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ludvig Kabell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Late Afternoon Stroll im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.739,16).
