Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Laszlo Neogrady could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work Tending to the garden changed hands for GBP 470.00 (€ 736.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Laszlo Neogrady have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Winter landscape at sunset in March 2011 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,364.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Laszlo Neogrady konnte im Mai 2002 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES wechselte die Arbeit Tending to the garden für GBP 470,00 (€ 736,03) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laszlo Neogrady auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Winter landscape at sunset im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.364,66).
