Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Harison Roses by Laura Coombs Hills for USD 11,750.00 (€ 12,310.11). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Laura Coombs Hills have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2017 by the work Larkspur and Lilies at USD 21,250.00 (€ 17,860.14).
