In the Belle Époque Splendor: The Discerning Eye of a Collector auction, the work Sur la place de Clichy changed hands for USD 107,100.00 (€ 99,804.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Sur la place de Clichy is the most expensive artwork by Laureano Barrau Buñol that we have observed at auction so far.
