This artwork by Léa Lafugie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March last year. In the Travel & Exploration auction, the work View of Anuradhapura Temple, Sri Lanka sold for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,418.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léa Lafugie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diseur de bonne aventure (The Fortune Teller), which sold at auction in December 2020 for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,229.35).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Léa Lafugie erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Travel & Exploration wurde die Arbeit View of Anuradhapura Temple, Sri Lanka für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.418,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Léa Lafugie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diseur de bonne aventure (The Fortune Teller) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.229,35) versteigert wurde.
