Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Lea Nikel was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,266.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lea Nikel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December 2014 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 46,483.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lea Nikel kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.266,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lea Nikel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 46.483,76) versteigert wurde.
