A top price for Léon Bellefleur - as previously expected
The work Regards Vers La Chine by Léon Bellefleur was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2012. The price achieved of CAD 20,400.00 (€ 15,788.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Regards Vers La Chine is the most expensive artwork by Léon Bellefleur that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Regards Vers La Chine von Léon Bellefleur wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 20.400,00 (€ 15.788,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden.
