In the THE DORIS DUKE COLLECTION auction, the work The Broken Doll sold for USD 11,950.00 (€ 9,811.97) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Delachaux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Swiss the Banjo Player in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 59,567.45).
