Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A cheerful prospect; I hope I can rely on the purity of your milk by Leonard Raven-Hill was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2002. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 446.50 (€ 685.40). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonard Raven-Hill - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'President Wilson Starts Again For Europe', which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,511.70).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 446,50 (€ 685,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonard Raven-Hill mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'President Wilson Starts Again For Europe' beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.511,70) versteigert wurde.
