This artwork by Leonid Pasternak achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2008. In the Russian Pictures Part I auction, the work Still life with hyacinths, tulips, hollyhocks and peonies sold for GBP 87,650.00 (€ 105,975.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonid Pasternak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonid Pasternak erzielte im November 2008 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures Part I wurde die Arbeit Still life with hyacinths, tulips, hollyhocks and peonies für GBP 87.650,00 (€ 105.975,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonid Pasternak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14).
