Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Near Ay-Petri in the Crimea by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio for GBP 349,250.00 (€ 417,353.21). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,476,000.00 (€ 2,190,309.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Near Ay-Petri in the Crimea von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio für GBP 349.250,00 (€ 417.353,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.476.000,00 (€ 2.190.309,76).
