Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape, 1946 by Li Gemin for USD 576.00 (€ 527.47). This price was achieved in the auction Decorative Asian Works of Art Online at Bonhams in Paris and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Gemin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Washing Horse in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,465.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape, 1946 von Li Gemin für USD 576,00 (€ 527,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Decorative Asian Works of Art Online bei Bonhams in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Gemin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Washing Horse im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.465,07).
