The work Autumn Leaves by Liang Shimin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. It achieved a price of HKD 28,800.00 (€ 3,151.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liang Shimin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aigrette and Flower, which sold at auction in November 2006 for HKD 66,000.00 (€ 6,400.42).

Die Arbeit Autumn Leaves von Liang Shimin kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 28.800,00 (€ 3.151,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Für andere Arbeiten von Liang Shimin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aigrette and Flower beobachtet, die im November 2006 für HKD 66.000,00 (€ 6.400,42) versteigert wurde.
