This artwork by Liang Yifeng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. In the IMPORTANT 20TH CEN CHIN PAINTINGS FROM THE YAGEO FOUNDATION auction, the work Mother's Love sold for HKD 191,200.00 (€ 19,261.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 85,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Yifeng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady in White in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 98,473.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liang Yifeng erzielte im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion IMPORTANT 20TH CEN CHIN PAINTINGS FROM THE YAGEO FOUNDATION wurde die Arbeit Mother's Love für HKD 191.200,00 (€ 19.261,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 85.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yifeng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady in White im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 900.000,00 (€ 98.473,28).
