Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled; also two works by other hands by Lily Harmon for USD 600.00 (€ 486.62). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Lily Harmon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Location X in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 4,410.00 (€ 3,665.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled; also two works by other hands von Lily Harmon für USD 600,00 (€ 486,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lily Harmon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Location X im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.410,00 (€ 3.665,84).
