The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,868.23), 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Maoshan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Scenery of a River Village, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 33,763.85).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.868,23) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Maoshan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Scenery of a River Village beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 33.763,85) versteigert wurde.
