Sold at the upper estimate price
In January 2011 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Jean Claude Abreu, which included the work The Triumph of Venus (Rizzi 230, De Vesme, 9) by Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of An Oriental, Head And Shoulders, Wearing A Bejewelled Blue Hat And A Red Fur-Trimmed Coat in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 328,212.05).
