Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lotte Laserstein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Portrait of a farmers boy sold for SEK 220,000.00 (€ 18,675.82) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lotte Laserstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German abend Über Potsdam (Evening Over Potsdam) in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 421,250.00 (€ 512,279.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lotte Laserstein erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit Portrait of a farmers boy für SEK 220.000,00 (€ 18.675,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lotte Laserstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit German abend Über Potsdam (Evening Over Potsdam) im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 421.250,00 (€ 512.279,21).
